Replace the placeholder below with your real name, a real photograph and an honest description of your background. Do not claim military service, a medical qualification or a fitness certification you do not hold. Fabricated author credentials are a direct violation of Google's quality guidelines and of advertising network policies, and on a military topic they are the kind of claim readers check. An honest "independent researcher who reads the regulations carefully and cites them" is both defensible and sufficient.

[Two or three honest sentences: why you built this, what you actually do, and what you do not claim to be. If you have a relevant background, state it plainly and verifiably. If you do not, say that the site's authority comes from citing primary sources rather than from personal credentials — that is a legitimate position and readers respect it.]

How Pages Are Researched

  1. Primary sources firstEvery standard, threshold and table traces to an Army regulation, a Department of Defense instruction or an official Army announcement — not to another website covering the same topic.
  2. Formulas are run, not describedThe circumference equations used in the calculators were checked against the worked examples published in AR 600-9 itself, so the output matches the regulation's own arithmetic.
  3. Uncertainty is stated, not smoothed overWhere sources genuinely conflict, or where the Army has not announced something, the page says so rather than guessing.
  4. Nothing is invented to fill a gapWhere an official scoring scale exists but cannot be verified line by line, the page links to it rather than reproducing a table that might be wrong.
  5. Dates are realThe last-reviewed date on a page changes when the page is actually reviewed, not on a schedule to look fresh.
